We are delighted to announce a new partnership with Cricket Scotland. We have been working hard behind the scenes to create a customised members area for all their coaches and parents involved in their talent pathway program.
Their customised members area also includes a personalised ‘Great Sports Parenting’ presentation with audio for parents to access on an ongoing basis. It is not always easy to get all of the parents in the same place at the same time and this at least goes some way to helping support them all from the comfort of their own home.
This year will also see us head to Scotland to deliver our presentation to their coaches, ‘Engage – how to build positive relationships with sporting parents.’
Gordon Drummond(Cricket Scotland Performance Pathway Manager) said, ‘Cricket Scotland is excited about our new partnership with ‘Working with Parents in Sport.’ Parents are often overlooked in terms of the support they provide and impact they have on their child’s athletic progression. Because of this, Gordon MacLelland and his team have produced informative resources aimed at supporting parents who have athletes in our talent pathway. At Cricket Scotland, we believe it’s important to inform and support parents appropriately so they can work together with coaching staff to create the optimal learning environment and experience. The resources now available to Cricket Scotland will be provided to all parents in the talent pathways to enable this.”
