CEO Gordon MacLelland will be speaking later this year at the Ontario Coaches Summit. It is the second time he will have spoken at the summit and join a group of World-Class Speakers.
The Ontario Coaches Summit Series returns virtually between September 15th and September 17th and we will be delivering the following session:
‘ENGAGE – BUILDING POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH YOUR YOUNG ATHLETES’ PARENTS’
Our session will look at several areas for coaches including:
- What is ‘Parental Engagement?’
- Understanding today’s sporting parent
- The positives and challenges of sports parents
- Managing dreams and expectations
- Setting your coaching environment
- The importance of positive role modelling
- Building an effective communication strategy
