Working with Parents in Sport are delighted to announce that they will be working closely with the Irish Football Association.
We visited the National Stadium in Belfast to deliver our workshops and mentor training to the Regional Grassroots Development Officers, Youth Development Coordinators along with the Club and Volunteer development officers.
The aim of this exciting initiative is to deliver the workshops nationwide and support both parents and coaches in how to work together, to improve their working relationship, as well as support parents in navigating the complexities of youth football today.
The Irish FA will deliver the workshops in each council area and will invite both clubs and parents to participate. The aim is to support the clubs so that they can continue to develop this relationship, hopefully resulting in a positive change in both culture and mindset within football in Northern Ireland.
