WWPIS joins forces with leading children’s charity to improve sport for young people.
Working with Parents in Sport (WWPIS) has partnered with the Youth Sport Trust to provide children with the best possible sporting experiences, through supporting parents, coaches and other organisations.
Working with parents and families is key to the Youth Sport Trust’s strategy to remove barriers to sport.
With WWPIS already working with a number of National Governing Bodies and sports organisations around the world, this looks like a perfect fit.
Gordon Maclelland, Chief Executive Officer at Working with Parents in Sport, said:
“We are delighted to be working alongside the YST, a charity which shares our values and philosophies. We look forward to working together to reach more parents, coaches and clubs.”
Will Roberts, Chief Operating Officer at the Youth Sport Trust, said:
“We are really pleased to be partnering with Working with Parents in Sport, who share our passion and a mission to support young people to benefit from positive, fun and enjoyable experiences through sport.”
The new partnership is expected to provide high quality support to the parents of thousands of young people through combining the two organisations’ resources and networks. To find out more click here.
