Every week on a Friday we try to play our very small part in keeping the WWPIS and sporting communities connected. This group includes parents, coaches, athletes and teachers amongst others. Under the hashtag #Stayconnected our community gets together to answer a couple of questions or let us know what they are up to during the course of a sporting weekend.
The conversation every week is enlightening, provides an opportunity to share information and allows people to meet and connect who may not have done under normal circumstances.
This week with lots of people in lockdown and a number of the sporting community desperately missing their sporting fix, as well as many exercising as part of their New Years resolutions we asked the following two questions:
- What is your favourite sporting podcast?
- What is your favourite workout music?
The response was incredible particularly to the podcast question and we have created a list below of these as voted for by the WWPIS community to work your way through and share with other people.
When it came to workout music we had some suggestions of Desert Island Discs, anything 80’s, anything loud, British Rock, Prince and Country music – we have such a diverse range of people in our community. Maybe it is time to try something new with your workouts and exercise, it can become so easy get stuck in a rut.

This is another valuable resource in helping our work to support organisations, parents and coaches in working together to provide children with the best possible sporting experiences.
We have an amazing lineup of guests sharing their own knowledge and personal experiences.
Season One is focussing on sports parenting, coaching your own children and running an effective parental engagement programme.
