WWPIS were back in Belfast to work with some of the Ulster Hockey coaches on building positive relationships with parents. It was a really enjoyable workshop with the audience playing an active and enthusiastic role in discussing and formulating a plan to implement strategies to improve the playing and home environments for their young players and parents.
Jill Poots executive manager at Ulster Hockey commented afterwards, ‘there were some really simple messages for those coaches and leaders in clubs on engaging parents. The workshop was engaging, was insightful in its delivery and most importantly there were practical ideas and resources to help both clubs and coaches with immediate effect.’
